Prove your worth before the light goes out

It’s hard to reveal your wounds to potential saviors.

Duck Diaz wasn’t able to fight in the war that made his father a hero and took the lives of every other genetically modified Encore soldier. With humanity running out of time before the Sun dies, Duck struggles to prove himself in a world that doesn’t need a soldier anymore but a savior.

Hannily, a Stellaran princess, descends to Earth and chooses Duck as her candidate for Judgment. He must prove humanity deserves to be saved from their fate, while she hopes the Judgment will allow her to prove herself to the subjects and royal family who have endured her failures for too long.

As Duck and Hannily explore each other’s worlds, they find that the same scars that tear through their people run through their own hearts as well. If they can’t find the strength to move forward, they run the risk of dooming not just one world but two.
